I think it is SO-O-O cool, at the age of 54, to have a Dad who has his own blogspot! I look forward to seeing your other poems (Prostate exam, Fredonia, etc) on the site soon.

My father was born in 1922 and died in 1994. He too tried poetry in his later years and gave us many hours of fun and even times of tears.
He was a naval survivor and more than a hero to me.
Keep writing. I will keep reading.
